Today we helped out at the Go4Gold 2016 Event.

 

 

Go4Gold takes place annually on the 2nd Tuesday in June. Teams of 3 players from Residential homes around Perth and Kinross take part an in indoor games challenge for a cup, at the Bell Sports Centre. The teams had made their own Poster and many dressed up to reflect their team name and identity.  

After the 32 teams were registered they headed to one of the 20 games stations. The Formal Opening Ceremony was followed by a Sing-Song/Warm-up and then the Team Challenge.

 

 

 

After the games the competitors had a nice sandwich lunch while they were entertained by the Perth High School Ceilidh Band, followed by the presentation of medals for Highest Score, Best Poster, Best Team Identity, Best Team Name and Most Enthusiastic team. As you can imagine there was a need for lots of volunteers to run the event and, there were lots.
