All Gas but No Gaiters

“The Reflections of A Retired Bishop” kept Rotarians and their guests thoroughly amused and entertained this evening when our very own retired bishop, Bruce Cameron, gave his “Job talk”.

Bruce spoke initially about his early life as a member of the Episcopal Church, including some very interesting anecdotes concerning singing for pocket money!

Following a change of shirt, which he performed to the tune of The Stripper sung by his audience, he told us more of the way the Episcopal Church is set up and stressed what a very democratic organisation it is compared to the way some others are run.

The evening was an ideal opportunity to invite guests and partners to the meeting and we look forward to another such occasion in the near future.
