James Surman (on right) sounded a wake-up call at the club on Tuesday evening when he drew our attention to the many and varied ways which people employ in order to part us from our money.

He is the manager of the Trustee Savings Bank in Perth and is the future son-in-law of his host Rotarian Ian Stevenson. (I have Ian's permission to print this!)

James, who hails from Leicestershire, is a keen golfer and enjoys mountain biking in his spare time.
